The Land of Fire and Ice – Part 2

After our first trip to Iceland back in the summer of 2013, we instantly knew this was just one of those places that we would have to visit again. There is just so much to love about Iceland – the food, the people, the unspoiled natural landscape. We decided on a winter trip this time, hoping to catch those elusive northern lights while we were at it. They’re much harder to see in person, and though we managed to catch a glimpse of it the first night we were there, on the one clear (ish) night we had, the rest of the week poured. Despite being soaked to the core for pretty much the week, Iceland’s natural beauty and the geothermal pools quickly made up for a rather nasty week of bad weather! Some of our pictures of Iceland can be purchased under our Wall Art section!
